hello my faithful followers....follower? :)
i realize i pumped all of you full of promises of a weekly blog and then turned around and crushed them. sorry. i'm just not cut out for things like this. i will keep blogging, don't worry. it just won't be as often as you or i would like.
anyway, i wanted to let you guys know that i will have a job next year. based on budget issues and the fact that the state of iowa hasn't made up their minds about preschool, i most likely won't be teaching preschool. i know, sad. so sad. at first i was rather excited about the thought of teaching older kids, but then, i started to think about how much i would miss preschool. it's fun, really, it is. i would miss the freedom that comes with it and the flexibility.
so, here's hoping i won't have to move! enjoy the month of may!
I'm glad the job situation worked out for next year, but what a bummer that you have to switch out of preschool! I have such respect for those in education - I couldn't handle the uncertainty! :) glad to hear things are going well!
